After leaving school Duncan joined the same local Dental Laboratory where Jerry was working, subsequently gaining City and Guilds qualification in Dental Technology and Advanced Crown and Bridgework.
Duncan has attended numerous courses since then as he feels it is so important to keep up to date with the latest advances in materials and techniques.
When Duncan is not working in the lab he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and doing DIY at home. When time allows Duncan likes to discover new places and getting out in the fresh air !

I entered into Dental Technology from school as an apprentice at a local Dental Laboratory. After qualifying with City and Guilds awards in Dental Technology and in Advanced Crown and Bridgework Duncan and I set up D J Ceramics in 1986.

When I'm not at the Lab I can usually be found pottering around the garden and pond or, with my wife Sharon, walking up and down various hills in the Lake District.

For surgeries using our delivery and collection service Tim is the face of the Lab and the person you will see day to day delivering the finished restorations and collecting impressions for new cases.
